Introduce self-assessment opportunities: People are more motivated and feel empowered to take control over their learning destiny when they know they have some say in what they’re doing. To foster better learning experiences, teachers must ask students for their feedback on the course contents. Mentors can provide short tests, survey questions, or situation-based questions to help students determine their strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. Students who find a lesson too introductory may skip it or go deeper depending on their self-assessment or quiz scores. By combining various e-learning tools and teacher’s guidance, the students will be able to plug any gaps in their knowledge.
