Children love swimming and when it becomes a part of the school activity it adds fun with learning. Apart from the health benefits of swimming, with every new stroke children learn something new, they develop a sense of accomplishment, to set goals and persevere until they have reached their target.
As a part of the co-scholastic activity an Inter-house swimming competition for boys was held at SIRS on August 11, 2019 in the boys swimming pool.
The underwater swift Vajra house swimmers bagged the first place with 40 points followed by Srivatsa house with 19. While the 3rd and the 4th places went to Dhvaja and Chakra house with 17 and 16 points respectively.
