"Freedom is not given, it is taken." - Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose
On August 6, 2024, a group of 90 young SAIoneers from classes VII and VIII embarked on an enriching educational excursion to the birthplace of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Cuttack. Accompanied by 12 teachers from SAI International Residential School, this journey aimed to delve into the life and legacy of the legendary freedom fighter.
As they explored the historic site, students discovered artifacts from Netaji's childhood, including personal belongings and handwritten notes. They witnessed the uniform of the Indian National Army and the famed Jhansi Rani Regiment, gaining insight into the significant contributions of Netaji to India's freedom struggle.
The visit was a poignant reminder of the indomitable spirit of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, inspiring a sense of patriotism and pride in the young minds. This enriching experience allowed students to connect with India's history and legacy, motivating them to strive for excellence and make a positive impact in the world.
