No matter what the challenges or the circumstances come in life, one should be prepared to face it with grit and overcome all the odds with flying colors. The most awaited Lion King and his family appeared on stage at the Utkarsh 2018 and the performances blazed up the stage. The Astaranga auditorium of SAI International Residential School was converted into a Jungle, the Pride Land.  The coveted Chief Guest for the evening was Shri Satyajit Mohanty, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar. Speaking on the occasion Shri Mohanty stated the qualities of a leader and said that, “leadership is not just being at the top but it is how well you can manage, motivate and inspire your team to achieve a common goal and lead with setting up examples. The attributes of a true leader is integrity, conduct and a vision to complete a task with excellence”

The motive of choosing the Lion King as a play was to make children understand what leadership is, what the challenges are and how well one can overcome those by teamwork, empathy and proper execution of plans said Chairman Dr. Bijoy K Sahoo.

Children staged an immaculate performance; it seemed like movie playing in front of the audience. Never did the audience have a dull moment all through. A short valedictory ceremony was also organized towards the end of the program on December 20, 2018 at the ‘Utkarsh’ at SIRS.
