SAIoneers marked the celebration of 72nd Republic day with a spirit teeming with optimism and joy. In the morning Headmaster Shri Amitabh Agnihotri unfurled the national flag amidst a small gathering of the Class X and XII students following the social distancing norms. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to uphold the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness of India.
After the National Anthem, Headmaster gave tribute to the Nation which celebrates 72nd Republic Day. He highlighted the importance of Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties of every citizen of India. Taking into account the current pandemic he said as awakened citizens one needs to be safe and follow the safety norms.
A virtual celebration was also lined up for the evening where the students from Classes IV and above, parents and teachers participated with great enthusiasm. They filled the evening with their dance performances, songs, presentation and lot more.
It was an overwhelming day with a joyful celebration amidst the pandemic
