SAI International Residential School (SIRS) Class XI recently demonstrated their intelligence and global perspective at the RS Zoom Postcard 2025, which was hosted by Palmer Trinity School, USA, on January 29, 2025. In nine countries—Armenia, China, Germany, Ghana, Namibia, Pakistan, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States—170 participants from 29 schools attended the thought-provoking workshop titled "Global Perspectives on University Admission."

Students had a lively opportunity to exchange ideas about the various university admissions procedures around the world during this thought-provoking 90-minute workshop. In addition to examining issues like affordability, accessibility, watchable career choices, and different selection processes implemented by universities worldwide, participants have addressed obstacles in the growth and future of global higher education. The understanding of how these institutions support students' goals while taking into account their social and economic conditions has been increased via suggestions and experience-sharing.

The growing awareness of India as a new worldwide centre for education was one important aspect that attracted attention. When compared to educational options around the world, India offers a large number of top-notch colleges with top-notch research facilities and a variety of programs that make it a desirable location. The participants also believed that India's economic and cultural values would support pupils' overall growth. The session concluded that the Indian higher education system aims to preserve a very delicate balance between academic and cultural rigour, which is a unique learning opportunity in and of itself.

For the SIRS students, the RS Zoom Postcard was a life-changing experience that expanded their perspective on the world and strengthened their sense of pride in India's changing academic scene. Students can hone their critical thinking skills, consider multiple viewpoints, and make well-informed decisions about their future academic and professional goals by participating in international forums. Students gain information from this global exposure, but they also improve their capacity to navigate the complexities of higher education with awareness, global outlook and confidence.

SIRS continues to develop globally competent students who can easily transition into the rapidly changing academic and professional world while maintaining a strong connection to their heritage through involvement in international discussions such as this one. The students' desire to make a significant contribution to the world has been further cemented by the experience.
