The festive spirit of Diwali filled the air at SAI International Residential School as students and staff came together for a vibrant special combined assembly on October 18, 2025, celebrating the festival of lights with immense zeal and joy.
Led by the enthusiastic students of Grades IV to VIII, the assembly beautifully reflected the essence of Diwali — the victory of light over darkness and truth over evil. The morning commenced with a soulful prayer, followed by the word of the day, thought of the day, and insightful news updates from the global, national, and state fronts, setting a thoughtful tone for the celebration.
A highlight of the event was a thought-provoking video presentation and a captivating dance performance that illuminated the true spirit of Diwali — one of positivity, compassion, and righteousness. The performances resonated deeply, reminding everyone that Diwali is not just about lighting lamps and sharing sweets, but about enlightening souls with goodness and fostering harmony, peace, and togetherness.
The celebration concluded with smiles and sparkling hearts, as the young SAIoneers inspired all to carry forward the festival’s timeless message — to let the light within us shine bright and spread joy wherever we go.
