SAI International Residential School takes immense pride in announcing that Miththu Kanu, a student of Class X, has secured a Top 30 position in the Young Astronomer Talent Search (YATS), a prestigious national-level initiative dedicated to identifying and nurturing young minds in the field of astronomy and space science.
As part of the competition, participants were required to present a model-based project, and Miththu impressed the panel with his presentation on India’s Manned Mission to Space. His project reflected a deep understanding of space science, innovation, and scientific application, earning him recognition among the top young talents in the country. This exceptional achievement has provided Miththu with the distinguished opportunity to visit the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the YATS programme, offering him first hand exposure to India’s advancements in space research and scientific innovation.
In recognition of his outstanding performance, Miththu was felicitated by the Hon’ble Minister of Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, Government of Odisha, Shri Krushna Chandra Patra, further honouring his accomplishment.
