SAI International marked the grand inauguration of the 13th edition of its flagship international conference, the SAI Model United Nations (SAIMUN 2025), with an atmosphere brimming with global enthusiasm and youthful diplomacy. Themed “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – One World, One Family,” the event aims to foster global dialogue, leadership, and collaborative problem-solving among school students from around the world.
The students of SAI International Residential School (SIRS) participated with pride and enthusiasm as SAIMUN 2025 was officially inaugurated at SAI International School, Bhubaneswar.
The opening day witnessed the participation of over 750 student delegates from 23 countries and 26 reputed schools, coming together to engage in simulated diplomatic dialogue across 10 intellectually challenging committees. The first day saw them engage in intense committee sessions, collaborative discussions, and diplomatic negotiations, all while upholding the school’s commitment to excellence, leadership, and global citizenship.
Students also shone during the Felicitation Ceremony, receiving accolades including the Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo Global SAIoneer Award and the Emerging Entrepreneur Award, which celebrate not only academic brilliance but also the spirit of innovation and responsibility.
The opening day was a powerful beginning to what promises to be a transformative learning journey for the delegates of SIRS, reaffirming the school’s dedication to shaping thoughtful, informed, and globally aware leaders of tomorrow.
