On October 5, 2024, as part of the ongoing Happiness Month in the Founder's Memorial Series, Grades IV, V, and VI students at SAI International Residential School gathered for an engaging storytelling session in the Café Area. The storyteller, Mihira Sehgal from Grade V, captivated the audience with a delightful tale of an old couple, humorously illustrating how even irritating sounds can bring peace. Set in a village without modern vehicles, the story followed an old man's amusing journey as he sought advice from a village teacher to cope with the grinding noise his wife made. The quirky twist, where the teacher suggested bringing animals into his home, led the old man to realize that the once irritating noise had become a source of comfort. The session brought smiles and laughter, spreading joy among students and reminding everyone of the importance of embracing happiness in even the simplest moments. The tale left the children with a beautiful message: happiness is a matter of perspective, and peace can be found in unexpected ways.
