On 4 May 2024, SAIoneers demonstrated their artistic talents at the World Cartoon Day Workshop held at the Rotary Club, Bhubaneswar. Accompanied by their dedicated art teacher, six students participated in the event, joining forces with renowned Odia cartoonists such as Kamala Kanta Rath and Debashish Singh. Guided by the esteemed chief guest Mr. Mrinal Chatterjee, Director of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Dhenkanal, the participants delved into the impact of cartoons on society and engaged in a lively cartoon-making competition with the theme 'Heat Waves.' Their active involvement, creativity and newfound knowledge contributed to the success of the event.
