January 11, 2021, a historic day in the pages of bravery. SAI International Residential School opened its doors for the SAIoneers of Class X adhering to the SOPs and the guidelines laid by the State Government. Following each protocol with diligence, not a single SOP got a miss in the detailed floor design of SIRS to safeguard the SAIoneers.
Strict protocols were followed for students from wearing masks, washing hands at frequent intervals to mandatory social distancing, almost giving a formal colour to their first day in school.
Students reported to the hostels a day before the school re-opened and joined the hostel producing the RT-PCR test reports. Following the protocols the students came in with vibrant smiles on their faces and they were greeted with warmth by the SIRS fraternity maintaining social distance.
The strict instruction of keeping distance from other students and admission of only one student in a bench was mandatory instruction inside the premise of the School. Digital thermometer readings to measure the body temperature, mandatory as per govt. guidelines were taken at the entrance of SIRS.
The students could resume classes in the school campus only after submitting the consent letters from the parents. The classrooms, corridors and toilets were sanitized every two hours and classes were conducted for limited hours as per the Govt. guidelines.
There are isolation rooms in the infirmary in case any child develops symptoms then they can be kept in the isolation room till the time the time he or she can be shifted to the hospital.
