SAI International Residential School had hosted the Sahodaya Football Complex Tournament 2018 from October 5 to 7. On the last day of the tournament the final match was held between SAI International School and Sainik School. The Sahodaya Football Complex Tournament 2018 Trophy was bagged by Sainik School, which won the final football match with the score of 3-1. The first half of the match was on an equal score of 0-0 but Sainik School gained momentum in the next half. It was a tough match and the best team won the Sahodaya Football Complex Tournament 2018 Trophy defeating all the other participating teams.
It declared was closed on October 7, 2018 by the Chief guest Shri Jacob Kispotta, Senior Commandant, NDRF, Mundali, and awarded the Trophy to the winning team and congratulated all the teams who had participated in the tournament. Shri Kispotta spoke on the importance of sports in life and appreciated SAI International Residential School to have all the necessary world class sporting infrastructure within its premise. The runners up team of SAI International School were also awarded with medals and certificates.
