SAI International Residential School marked World Earth Day on April 22, 2026 with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation. The celebration aimed to instill awareness and inspire students to take meaningful steps towards protecting the planet.
The day began with a thoughtfully curated morning assembly presented by students. The assembly included a meaningful prayer, followed by an insightful “Word of the Day” focused on stewardship. Students also shared a powerful message emphasizing that even small actions can create a significant and lasting impact on the environment. The theme for this year, “Our Power, Our Planet,” resonated deeply with the audience, encouraging all to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
Adding to the spirit of the occasion, the school’s Eco Club organized a creative poster-making activity, where students expressed their ideas and commitment towards environmental protection through art. A garden activity further connected students with nature, reinforcing the importance of nurturing and preserving the environment.
The celebration fostered a sense of awareness, responsibility and proactive engagement among students. It served as a reminder that caring for the Earth is not just an obligation, but a shared commitment towards building a greener and more sustainable future.
