On June 6th, 2024, SAIoneers participated in the final session of the Round Square Te Reo Māori Indigenous Language Lab, hosted by Wanganui Collegiate, New Zealand. The session, held from 10 to 11 am IST, focused on "Conversation" and included students from India, Australia, and New Zealand. It began with a briefing by the host and then divided participants into three Breakout Baraza rooms for in-depth discussions. Students learned essential Māori vocabulary for basic conversations. The session concluded with a Kahoot Quiz to assess and motivate further learning. This final session significantly promoted cross-cultural understanding and enhanced linguistic skills, marking a memorable and educational experience for all involved.
