SAIoneers Shine in AFS Inter-School Nukkad Natak Competition ‘EXPRESSIONISTA’

The Astaranga Auditorium at SAI International Residential School reverberated with passion, purpose, and powerful storytelling as a dynamic group of SAIoneers took centre stage to perform a compelling Nukkad Natak titled “Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani.” The performance was a proud entry for the AFS Inter-School Nukkad Natak Competition – EXPRESSIONISTA, centred around the thought-provoking theme: “Everyday Struggles of a Common Man.”

Crafted with depth, humour, and heartfelt emotion, the street play sheds light on the often-overlooked yet deeply felt challenges faced by ordinary people—rising expenses, work-life stress, societal expectations, and silent sacrifices. The students, with remarkable clarity and conviction, portrayed these struggles through vivid expressions and synchronised ensemble acting, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.

The Astaranga Auditorium served as the dynamic backdrop for the entire production, showcasing the vibrancy and intensity of the narrative. The shoot was conducted seamlessly within the school premises, capturing the raw and authentic energy that defines a street play, while adding a touch of theatrical finesse.

Every member of the cast contributed wholeheartedly, displaying outstanding teamwork, creativity, and emotional intelligence. The skit not only reflected the lived realities of countless individuals but also echoed the voice of a socially conscious youth determined to spark change through art.

The final video was submitted well within the deadline, exemplifying the team’s discipline, commitment, and collaborative spirit. Through this initiative, SAIoneers once again demonstrated how meaningful performance art can catalyse awareness, empathy, and transformation.

SAI International Residential School congratulates all participating students for their exceptional performance and thanks AFS India for providing this enriching platform to empower young voices.
