On October 9, 2025, the young SAIoneers participated in the Round Square French Language Lab, hosted virtually by Ermitage International School, France, under the theme “Les habitudes de la vie quotidienne” (Daily Life & Routines). The 60-minute interactive session brought together students from various Round Square schools across the world, creating a vibrant platform for cultural understanding and linguistic exploration.
Representing the beginners’ group, the SAIoneers introduced themselves in French and shared short presentations describing their daily morning routines. The experience helped them build confidence in pronunciation, listening, and conversational fluency, while also fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning foreign languages.
The session was not only about language learning but also about celebrating diversity. Through baraza interactions and collaborative discussions, students appreciated the similarities and uniqueness of lifestyles across cultures, strengthening their global citizenship and communication skills.
The Round Square French Language Lab served as a valuable opportunity for SAI students to engage in experiential learning beyond the classroom, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing globally aware, multilingual learners.
