SAIoneers Explore the Wonders of Science at Regional Science Center Visit

On July 22, Students from Classes IV to VII of SAI International Residential School took part in an enriching educational visit to the Regional Science Center, Bhubaneswar. The trip was carefully curated to provide an immersive learning experience, blending classroom concepts with hands-on scientific engagement in the real world.

The exploration began in the Physics gallery, where students interacted with exhibits that explained the principles of motion, electricity, and magnetism. A major highlight was the TESLA coil demonstration, showcasing the dramatic effects of static electricity in a thrilling visual experience.

The journey continued with an awe-inspiring planetarium show that offered a virtual tour of the solar system. Students were able to visualise complex astronomical phenomena, including planetary motion, constellations, and the scale of celestial bodies.

The final segment of the visit led students to the dinosaur park, where life-sized replicas of prehistoric creatures such as the T. rex and Triceratops sparked curiosity about Earth's ancient past and evolutionary history.

This experiential learning opportunity provided students with a deeper understanding of scientific concepts while fostering inquiry, imagination, and a lifelong love for discovery. The trip exemplified SAI’s commitment to creating meaningful learning beyond the classroom.
