Students and faculty members of SAI International Residential School (SIRS) had the unique privilege of witnessing the 57th Raising Day Parade of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), held on March 6, 2026, at the CISF Kharavela Regional Training Centre (KRTC), Mundali, Odisha. As a neighbouring institution, the school was graciously invited to attend the prestigious national celebration. A delegation of students accompanied by teachers, along with the Associate Director and Headmaster Amitabh Agnihotri, attended the ceremony and experienced a remarkable display of discipline, coordination and patriotic spirit.
The grand event was graced by the Hon’ble Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah as the Chief Guest. The parade commemorated 57 years of the CISF’s exemplary service in safeguarding India’s critical infrastructure, including airports, metro networks, government establishments and other strategic institutions across the country. The ceremony featured immaculate ceremonial drills, synchronised marching contingents and impressive performances by CISF personnel and trainees, reflecting the force’s professionalism, dedication and pride in service. The spectacular parade stood as a tribute to the unwavering commitment of the CISF in protecting the nation and ensuring the safety of millions.
