4 May 2025 marked a day of creativity and celebration as ten budding artists from SAI International Residential School participated in the Rotary Cartoon Workshop, organised by the Odisha Cartoon Academy in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Elite. Held at Rotary Bhawan, Sachivalaya Marg, the event honoured World Cartoonist Day by bringing together young talents from across the city.
Students from Classes VIII to XII immersed themselves in a full-day session filled with fun, learning, and artistic expression. With their own art materials in hand, they explored the world of cartooning—merging humour, storytelling, and social themes through sketches that spoke volumes.
The workshop not only sharpened their drawing and visual communication skills but also offered insights into how cartoons can be a powerful medium for social commentary and awareness. The experience encouraged creative freedom, originality, and deeper thinking—qualities that shone brightly through each student’s unique interpretation.
SAI International Residential School commended the young participants for their enthusiasm and talent, celebrating a day that inspired artistic growth and joyful self-expression.
