Chiranjeev Dash class V student of SAI International Residential School (SIRS) participated in the National Level Yoga Competition and received the Best Performance Award in the Junior category (11-15 yrs) on December 28 and 29, 2019 out of the 500 participants from across the country. The competition was conducted by Barabati Yoga Association, at Jawaharlal Indoor Stadium, Cuttack.
At SIRS, Yoga is a way of life; students participate and practice both morning as well as sunset yoga in the school premise. Speaking on Chiranjeev’s achievement Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Founder & Mentor SAI International Educational Group said that Yoga is an integral part of the SIRS curriculum. Yoga leads to increase in the concentration levels and help children focus on their studies. He congratulated him on his stupendous achievement.
In a short span of two year SIRS is ranked as Odisha’s #1 Co-ed Boarding School in the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2019. It also received the Top 10 Emerging high-potential Schools in the EducationWorld Grand Jury Awards 2018.
