SAI International Residential School (SIRS) had the honour of hosting the Valedictory and Result Declaration Session of the AFS National Calendar Activity – “Voices for Tomorrow: The Global Youth Manifesto” on 17 May 2025. The virtual event, conducted from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, celebrated the spirit of youth leadership, innovation, and advocacy for global change.
This month-long initiative witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 30 AFS member schools across India, engaging students in deep reflection and dynamic collaboration to envision a more inclusive and sustainable future. The programme was designed to empower students to think critically, collaborate creatively, and advocate meaningfully for global citizenship and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The valedictory session was a powerful reflection on the four core sub-activities – Debate, Vision Workshop, Cultural Showcase, and Manifesto Creation. Each component offered students a unique platform to express ideas, celebrate cultural diversity, and co-create a compelling youth manifesto for change.
The highlight of the event was the result declaration, with awards presented across three categories: Excellent, Outstanding, and Special Mention, applauding the exceptional contributions of young changemakers from across the country.
As the session drew to a close, heartfelt gratitude was extended to all participating schools for their energy, creativity, and commitment. The session also served as a call to action, encouraging continued engagement in such impactful educational initiatives.
