SAI Gifted Program Empowers Students with Self-Management and Stress Resilience Skills

On August 9, 2024, Class VIII students at SAI participated in a transformative session under the SAI Gifted Program by  Jacob Keeley and Nayonika Singhaal, Alma College, USA , focusing on essential life skills: self-management and stress resilience. Led by esteemed resource persons, Jacob and Nayonika from Alma College, USA, the session aimed to equip students with practical strategies for achieving success in an ever-changing world.

The engaging session delved into the fundamentals of effective personal management, introducing students to the S.M.A.R.T. goal-setting framework. This framework emphasizes creating objectives that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound, enabling students to set realistic and attainable goals. By mastering this framework, students can develop a clear direction and focus, leading to increased productivity and accomplishment.

In addition to goal-setting, the session covered practical strategies for breaking down daunting tasks into manageable steps, establishing productive break routines, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Students also learned valuable stress management techniques to navigate academic and personal challenges with confidence and resilience. These skills are essential for students to thrive in today's fast-paced environment.

By equipping students with these essential skills, the SAI Gifted Program aims to empower them to reach their full potential. The program is designed to identify and nurture exceptional talent among students, providing them with opportunities to develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and essential life skills.
