SAI International Residential School (SIRS) welcomed a distinguished delegation from the Odisha Chess Association for Visually Challenged, led by Mr. Soundarya Kumar Pradhan, General Secretary and celebrated chess champion, on February 12, 2025. The visit aimed to evaluate the school’s facilities as a potential venue for the upcoming Paralympics Chess Championship in April 2025.
Mr. Pradhan, an Asian Para Games medalist and a beacon of inclusivity, along with his team, toured the campus to assess its readiness for the prestigious event. The collaboration highlights SIRS’s dedication to promoting sportsmanship, inclusivity, and excellence on a global stage.
