Global Collaboration for Community Care

On 21 February 2024, SAIoneers actively engaged in the RS Zoom Postcard, "Creating a Community of Care," hosted by St Stithians Girls' College, South Africa, where 110 participants from 22 schools across 8 countries (Colombia, Kenya, Germany, India, Namibia, South Africa, Switzerland, and the USA) convened at 6:30 PM IST.

The 90-minute call centered on community service initiatives aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Breakout sessions explored organizing community engagement and service in diverse school environments.

In breakout rooms attendees discussed and planned their own community service initiative centered around the UN’s SDGs’ such as no poverty, zero hunger, quality education and health. The Baraza discussions were based on how community engagement and service is organized in different countries in their respective schools. Our gratitude to St Stithians Girls' College for hosting this insightful, interactive session, fostering a global sense of responsibility and care for society.
