European Sojourn: SAIoneers Embark on Italy and Switzerland Adventure in GIP 2024

SAIoneers from Classes IX-XII embarked on an enriching Global Immersion Program (GIP) to Italy and Switzerland from May 31 to June 10, 2024, to engage in cultural exchange and global exposure. In Italy, students will visit iconic and historical sites such as St. Peter's Basilica and the Spanish Steps in Rome, the Leaning Tower in Pisa, and enjoy a live pizza and pasta-making workshop in Milan. They will also experience a cruise on Lake Como. In Switzerland, from June 5 to June 10, highlights include the CERN Lab and UN Headquarters in Geneva, a cable car ride to Mt. Titlis in Zurich, and a visit to the Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge in Lucerne. This GIP aims to enhance collaboration, leadership skills, and cultural awareness. By immersing themselves in diverse environments, SAIoneers will gain invaluable insights and broaden their global perspectives, fostering a deeper understanding of international cultures and strengthening their roles as future leaders.
