Educators from SAI International Residential School proudly participated in the Kick-Off Session of the “Pathways to Global Classroom 2025” Educators' Workshop, hosted by AFS India on April 4, 2025. Led by expert facilitators Ms. Sarita Badhwar and Ms. Seema Shaikh, the session laid a strong foundation for the upcoming global learning journey, aimed at nurturing active global citizenship within school communities.
The engaging session explored essential themes such as:
- What it means to be an active global citizen
- The importance of teaching global citizenship in schools
- How educators can shape a peaceful, equitable, and sustainable world
Participants delved into the educational goals of the workshop, the role of AFS India in promoting intercultural learning, and a comprehensive content guide that included asynchronous activities and the schedule for live sessions ahead. The workshop is set to culminate in an impactful event in the third week of April 2025, empowering educators with the knowledge, tools, and collaborative networks needed to lead their students toward a globally responsible future.
