Echoes of Joy, Values & Unity: SIRS Rings in the New Academic Year

SAI International Residential School marked a joyful reopening with its first official assembly of the new academic session on April 11, 2025. The morning resonated with a sense of renewal, reflection, and unity as students and educators gathered to begin the new journey ahead.

The assembly began with a reflective prayer, establishing a calm and concentrated atmosphere for the day. There was a special acknowledgment of Mahavir Jayanti, which celebrated the significant principles of non-attachment and spiritual discipline highlighted by Lord Mahavira. Students received insightful perspectives on his teachings, promoting a deeper appreciation for compassion and inner strength. Headmaster Mr. Amitabh Agnihotri extended a warm welcome to all new students and teachers joining the SIRS family. In his speech, he expressed sincere hopes for a meaningful year ahead and reaffirmed the school’s foundational values. He urged everyone to be mindful, compassionate, and collaborative, emphasizing the shared objective of fostering a genuine “School of Happiness.”

The assembly also included news highlights, a thought-provoking “Thought of the Day,” and inspiring messages that set the tone for a year brimming with growth, positivity, and togetherness.
