On 8 April 2024, the Odisha Government, in partnership with Utsharga, Jagatsinghpur, collaborated with SAI International Residential School, Cuttack, for the "Clean Plates, Safe Meals" campaign, promoting food safety awareness. The event, attended by key figures including Associate Director & Headmaster Mr. Amitabh Agnihotri, Cafeteria In-charge Mr. Binay Ray, President of Utsharga Mr. Priyaranjan Pattnaik, and Food Safety Officer Ms. Abhinandita Parija, focused on reinforcing strict food handling protocols. FoSTaC Authorized Trainer Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mallick conducted training sessions for cooks and cafeteria staff, stressing the importance of hygiene practices such as wearing gloves and caps, using hot water for utensil cleaning, and maintaining clean attire. This collaborative effort highlights a shared commitment to public health and safety through education and the implementation of food safety standards.
