SAIoneers delved into the vibrant heritage of the Blue City, gaining insights into its history, traditions, and artistic legacy. The journey began with a warm welcome, an orientation session, and introductory activities that fostered camaraderie. The first day set the tone for an immersive cultural experience.

Exploration of Jodhpur’s heritage started with a visit to Mehrangarh Fort, where SAIoneers marvelled at its grandeur, intricate carvings, and panoramic city views. Visits to Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace provided further insight into Rajasthan’s royal history and architecture. The day ended with an interactive session on the city’s cultural impact on modern India. A Heritage City Walk took SAIoneers through bustling streets, ancient step-wells, and historic neighbourhoods, with a stop at Toorji Ka Jhalra Stepwell showcasing Jodhpur’s traditional water conservation techniques. The cultural immersion continued at the Clock Tower Market, where artisans showcased Rajasthani textiles, spices, and handicrafts. Shopping at Lalji Handicrafts and National Handloom provided a closer look at Jodhpur’s renowned craftsmanship. The day concluded with a mesmerizing Rajasthani folk music and dance performance, featuring the UNESCO-recognized Kalbeliya dance.

On the final day, SAIoneers visited cultural landmarks like PAL Haveli, offering stunning views of the Blue City. A special lunch at Janta Sweet Home provided a taste of Jodhpur’s authentic flavours. An engaging Kaun Banega Crorepati-style quiz tested their knowledge of the city’s heritage. The farewell dinner at Annapurna Mess was a reflective moment, as participants shared their experiences and key takeaways.
