“Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom!” were the profound words to motivate the young force of the nation striving to be independent of the British Rule by Netaji. Subhash Chandra Bose a very young leader often referred to as Netaji led the young, radical wing of the Indian National Congress in the late 1920s and later became the president of INC in 1938. India observes Netaji Jayanti on January 23 nationally. Netaji has been instrumental in shaping up the armed forces of India.
The SAI International Residential School fraternity observed the day today by paying homage to the stalwart who committed his life for the freedom of the nation. The students enacted a short play about Netaji’s life and his struggle for independence and sang patriotic songs they also quoted special speeches delivered by Netaji.
