The SAI International Residential School Global Immersion Program is an innovative plan for the exchange and experiential education. SIRS is in collaboration with top universities; Educational Institutions of Higher learning like Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National University Singapore (NUS)
The Global Immersion Program to Singapore a 7 days program, took off on October 14, 2018, from Biju Patnaik International Airport for the students of SAI International Residential School. They boarded the flight to Chennai via Vizag and reached Singapore at 2:00 AM in the morning of October 15, 2018. The GIP is designed around the theme of Exploration from October 14 to 21, 2018. Children will learn through eleutheromania, investigation and interactions. They will be free to explore their interests and investigate problems they want to solve and initiate projects to validate the need and value of their ideas.
In the seven days they will be visiting Educational Institutions of Higher learning like Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National University Singapore (NUS) for orientation and admission session. Students will attend workshops in Robotics and DNA Research at Singapore Science Centre, visit Industrial places like NEWater and get to explore various places like Marina Bay Sands Sky Park, Sentosa Island, Universal Studios as well as go for a guided City tour of Singapore.
