SIRS Founder's Day is an annual event that commemorates and celebrates the day the School was conceptualized by the Founder Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo. It is a day of significance that marks the establishment of the institution and honors its vision and values. Founder's Day at SIRS includes an annual sports meet and a cultural programme with an English play staged in the Astaranga auditorium. The backdrop and the costumes of the play are grandly crafted to match international standards. Various activities are held, such as speeches, presentations, cultural performances, and awards ceremonies to recognize outstanding achievements and contributions within and outside the school community on Founder’s Day. It serves as a time for reflection on the history and achievements, as well as a moment to inspire and motivate students to carry forward the founder's legacy and ideals.
