On July 16, 2025, SAI International Residential School proudly hosted the Round Square Zoom Postcard event on the meaningful theme of “Digital Kindness – Creating Positive Spaces Online.” The dynamic 90-minute virtual conference brought together nearly 50 delegates from nine prestigious Round Square schools across India and the UAE. The event served as a vibrant platform for global student interaction and thoughtful dialogue.
The session, anchored with enthusiasm and poise by student leaders, invited participants to reflect deeply on the power of empathy and responsible digital behaviour. The conversation centred around how individual actions shape the online world, highlighting the importance of creating supportive and inclusive digital spaces.
Through guided discussions, thought-provoking questions, and real-life scenarios, the young hosts encouraged their peers to examine their digital footprints. The emphasis was not only on avoiding negativity but also on actively contributing to a culture of kindness online. A short yet emotionally impactful video added depth to the session, reminding everyone that even small digital gestures can leave lasting effects.
One of the most valuable aspects of the event was the Baraza breakout rooms. These smaller, focused sessions allowed students to exchange perspectives, listen attentively, and share personal experiences in a safe and respectful environment. They pledged to become Changemakers—individuals who would lead by example and challenge the harmful norms that often dominate online interactions.
