Cultural awareness plays a vital role in helping children develop a positive sense of identity and self esteem and also helps in growing up consciously. The Symphony Club of SAI International Residential School held a devotional session on the occasion of Mahalaya on October 8, 2018.
Children sang a motivational song and spoke about the significance of Mahalaya. Knowing about traditions, children form a special bond with the family and the traditions of the family. It helps them create good social network with other members of the family even distant relatives.
It was a devotional day and children enjoyed singing.
