On their third day in Singapore, the team from SAI International visited the NeWater Plant and Marina Barrage as well as continued with the Workshop at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Students were amazed to see the NeWater Plant which is a wonderful work of innovation and technology. Here sea water is converted to drinking water and Singapore gets its major part of water supply from this magnificent plant.
It was followed by a visit to Marina Barrage which is built across the mouth of the Marina Channel and is located in the heart of the City. The students loved to learn the threefold benefits of the Barrage like it is a source of water supply, flood control and a venue for life style attraction.
Next the students went back to NTU to continue with their thought provoking workshop on website design and product marketing. The day ended with a sumptuous dinner in a Punjabi restaurant in the heart of the City.
The 30-member team from SAI International School and SAI International Residential School are on a 7-day Global Immersion Programme to Singapore.
