Students of SIRS observed the Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas on, November 26, 2019. This day is observed every year to observe the adoption of the Constitution of India.
Impact
Students got to learn about the history of making of the longest written Indian Constitution that contains 444 articles in 22 par, 12 schedules and 124 amendments with 146,385 words in the English version, the sources, people involved (Constituent Assembly), the time factor to the completion, adaptation and enacting and also the importance of Constitution. The students also learnt that the Indian Constitution is the conscience of the Nation and Guardian of our people from any danger or deviation. He also highlighted the Fundamental Rights guaranteed by the Constitution and how we can as citizens enjoy these rights.
