Poetry is an amalgamation of thoughts and feelings of mind and heart in oneself, vented out on paper through words. Every child is a poet from inside, just a little guidance is needed. A Poetry workshop was conducted on April,18, 2018 by the English faculty of SIRS. The students were guided upon the syntax, the arrangement of words and the rule of poetry writing. They were even made to listen to a Robert Frost poem “Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening”, which gave them an insight to the nitty gritty of writing poetry with confidence. It was an enlightening and knowledgeable session for the students.
