December 7 is observed as the Armed Forces Flag Day or the Flag Day annually towards the collection of funds from the people of India for the welfare of the India Armed Force personnel. The Chakra House teachers of SAI International Residential School observed the Armed Forces Flag Day on December 7, 2018. Immediately after India achieved independence, a need arose for the government to manage the welfare of its defence personnel.
