Music plays vital role in grooming children. It brings them closer to the eternal soul and relaxes their mind body and soul. SAI International Residential School marked the presence of renowned Violin maestro, Dr. Mysore Manjunath along with his very young violinist son Shri Sumanth Manjunath and his team of eminent musicians like on the Mridangam was Shri Phagun and Shri M. Surya Prasad Rao on the Ghatam. The program was conferred by the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) in the state-of-the-art auditorium of SAI International Residential School on July 11, 2018.
Dr. Manjunath, popularly known as Mysore Brothers is the son and disciple of renowned violinist Prof. Mahadevappa. He gave an enthralling performance which the SIRS fraternity loved. Music is next to godliness, one rejuvenates after listening to music.
Students of SIRS enjoyed every moment of the concert; such events help students come closer to the Indian culture and tradition. Evening spent well in the arms of music.
