The Tennis Sahodaya School Complex 2026, held from September 8 to 10, 2026, at SAI International School, Bhubaneswar, provided a valuable competitive platform for young tennis players to test their skills against players from other schools. Representing SIRS, the tennis contingent approached each match with determination, discipline and a strong sense of sportsmanship.
In Boys’ Singles, Hrishiraj Haibru faced ODM Global, Bhubaneswar, and secured a 6–4 victory in the opening match. In the second encounter, Aarav Sultania competed against ODM Global and put up a determined performance, with the match concluding 5–7 in favour of the opponent. The results reflected the competitive nature of the tournament and the players’ willingness to challenge themselves at every stage. The Boys’ Doubles match featured Aarav Sultania and Hrishiraj Haibru against ODM Public School. The pair displayed coordination and competitive spirit throughout the encounter, which concluded 4–6 in favour of the opposing team.
In Girls’ Singles, Laxmi Kanu represented SIRS against SAI International School, with the match ending 3–6. Trisha Sharma also competed against SAI International School in the second encounter, which concluded 3–6. Both players demonstrated perseverance and composure while gaining valuable experience through competitive play.
Beyond the results, the tournament offered meaningful opportunities for the players to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and strategic thinking. Competing beyond the campus environment allowed them to experience the demands of competitive tennis while learning the importance of preparation, discipline and maintaining a positive sporting attitude.
