The Inter-House Tennis Competition 2026 was successfully conducted at the SIRS Tennis Court from August 21 to 23, bringing together 40 enthusiastic young players, including 15 girls and 25 boys, representing all four Houses. The competition provided an engaging platform for students to demonstrate their tennis skills while fostering healthy competition, camaraderie and sportsmanship.
The tournament featured Junior and Senior categories for both Boys and Girls, along with Junior and Senior Boys’ Doubles. Played in a knock-out format, the matches tested the players’ agility, concentration, strategic thinking and perseverance, with every participant displaying determination and respect for the spirit of the game.
In the Girls’ Singles category, Lakshmi Kanu of Class IX-B from Srivatsa House emerged as the Junior Champion, while Bidhi Agrawal of Class XII-A from Chakra House secured the Senior Championship. In Boys’ Singles, Aarav Sultania of Class IX-C from Vajra House claimed the Junior title, while Raghav Bajaj of Class XII-C from Vajra House emerged as the Senior Champion.
The Boys’ Doubles category witnessed strong performances, with Hrishiraj Haibru and Asmit Samanta of Classes IX-C and IX-B from Dhvaja House emerging as Junior Champions. In the Senior category, Pranay Maheswari and Nihal Kalani of Classes XII-C and XII-D from Dhvaja House secured the championship.
Beyond the results, the competition celebrated the values that make sport a meaningful part of student development. The players demonstrated focus, resilience, fair play, teamwork and respect for their opponents, gaining valuable experience both on and off the court.
