As two inspiring days of diplomacy, negotiation, and intellectual discourse drew to a close, SAI International Residential School (SIRS) transformed the spirit of SAIMUN 2026 into a vibrant celebration of culture, friendship, and gratitude through a spectacular Cultural Evening. Thoughtfully curated by the Student Council and Student Leaders, the evening paid tribute to the unwavering dedication of every delegate, faculty advisor, organiser, and volunteer who contributed to making the 14th edition of Eastern India's largest international Model United Nations conference a remarkable success.
The celebrations commenced with an electrifying performance by the Junior School Band, which immediately captivated the audience. The excitement continued as the Senior School Band delivered an equally dynamic performance, filling the venue with rhythm, enthusiasm, and celebration. The cultural showcase unfolded into a vibrant tapestry of artistic excellence featuring melodious vocal performances, graceful dance presentations, expressive poetry recitations, and engaging duet performances by students from both SIRS and the visiting schools. Every performance reflected creativity, collaboration, and cultural appreciation, creating an atmosphere of warmth, inclusivity, and togetherness. The programme offered delegates a refreshing opportunity to relax, celebrate, and build friendships beyond the formal conference sessions while creating memories that extended far beyond committee rooms.
One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was the felicitation ceremony, where the Associate Director & Headmaster honoured the visiting Faculty Advisors in recognition of their invaluable mentorship, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout SAIMUN 2026. Their guidance played a significant role in enriching the learning experiences of every delegate.
In a heartfelt gesture symbolising gratitude and enduring friendship, Shree Sai Baba English Medium School, Shirdi, presented Baba's blessings to the Headmaster and his dedicated team, reflecting the deep bonds nurtured through the conference and the shared commitment towards empowering future leaders. Adding a deeply spiritual conclusion to the celebrations, Shirdi Sai Public School, Moradabad, offered a soulful prayer and thanksgiving that filled the atmosphere with peace, gratitude, and reflection. The heartfelt presentation beautifully reinforced the values of harmony, respect, and unity that define the spirit of SAIMUN.
The celebrations concluded with a specially curated Gala Dinner, where delegates, faculty advisors, teachers, and organisers gathered to continue conversations, strengthen friendships, exchange experiences, and celebrate the remarkable journey they had shared over the past two days.
