The SIRS Inter House Chess Championship 2026–27, held from 9th to 13th July 2026 at the Hostel Basement, concluded on a high note, bringing together the finest young strategists from across the school. Conducted across the Colts, Junior, and Senior categories for both boys and girls, the championship showcased exceptional analytical thinking, patience, concentration, and tactical excellence. Throughout the tournament, participants engaged in intellectually stimulating contests where every move demanded foresight, composure, strategic planning, and sound decision-making. More than a competition, the championship celebrated the values of discipline, resilience, perseverance, and sportsmanship that define every SAIoneer.

The tournament witnessed several closely contested matches, with participants displaying remarkable confidence and consistency while navigating complex positions on the chessboard.
