SAI International Residential School welcomed students from its sister institution, SAI International School, Bhubaneswar, for an enriching one-day Sports Exchange Program that beautifully blended competition, collaboration and camaraderie. The visiting students arrived and were received into a vibrant and engaging environment designed to promote holistic learning beyond the classroom.
The day began at the Bijaya Indoor Sports Arena, where students enthusiastically participated in a range of indoor games, including badminton, table tennis, pickleball, chess, pool, and ludo. The arena buzzed with excitement as students displayed skill, strategy and sportsmanship, building connections through friendly competition. The energy continued with an exhilarating swimming session, including water polo and relay races. This segment brought an added dimension of teamwork and coordination, as students cheered each other on and celebrated every moment together. Following a refreshing lunch at the cafeteria and a short period of rest, students enjoyed a relaxing movie break, allowing them to unwind and recharge for the next phase of the program.
As the day progressed, the focus shifted to the SAI International Stadium, where students engaged in informal outdoor sports such as football, basketball and athletics. These activities further strengthened bonds, encouraged collaboration and fostered a spirit of unity among participants. The program concluded on a heartfelt note, with students departing the campus carrying cherished memories, new friendships and enhanced confidence. The Sports Exchange Program stood as a true reflection of SIRS’s commitment to holistic development, where learning extends beyond academics to include physical well-being, teamwork and meaningful social connections. It was a day filled with joy, energy and shared experiences, and a testament to the power of sport in bringing young minds together.
