In a heartening display of cultural camaraderie and institutional neighbourliness, SAI International Residential School (SIRS) participated in a special musical programme at the NDRF Campus, Mundali, on 8th January 2026, following an invitation from the Commandant, NDRF, during the visit of the Director General (DG), NDRF. The event was held at the Officers’ Mess, 3rd Battalion, NDRF, attended by senior officers and esteemed delegates.
The programme began with a soulful welcome song by five students of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, NDRF Mundali, symbolising warmth, respect, and collaboration among neighbouring institutions. This was followed by an enriching instrumental performance by seven SIRS students, who recreated timeless Bollywood melodies including Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana, Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe Ho Nissar, Chala Jata Hoon Kisi Ki Dhun Mein, and Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan, captivating the audience for nearly 40 minutes.
The performance beautifully demonstrated that music transcends boundaries, fosters unity, and strengthens institutional relationships. Deeply moved by the presentation, the DG, NDRF, personally congratulated each student and their mentors, presenting tokens of appreciation as a gesture of encouragement and support.
The programme concluded on a joyful and inspiring note, leaving behind a lasting impression of mutual respect, collaboration, and cultural harmony between SIRS and NDRF.
