A Founder's Special Combined Morning Assembly was held at SAI International Residential School on October 15, 2025, to celebrate the timeless virtue of Kindness—a core value envisioned by the Founder, Late Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo.
The assembly began with the theme, “One kind word can make someone’s whole day brighter”, followed by a soulful rendition of Rabindranath Tagore’s “Where the Mind is Without Fear”, setting a reflective and inspiring tone for the morning. Students shared the Word of the Day, Integrity, and the Thought of the Day, echoing Dr. Sahoo’s belief in Building a Better India through Education.
A touching video presentation paid tribute to the Founder’s remarkable journey, highlighting his mantra of compassion, hard work, and excellence. The assembly also featured a melodious song and a heartfelt poem, “Kindness is Magic,” along with a creative drama on Kindness Towards Nature presented by students from Grades IV to VII.
The event concluded with the Kindness Message Stick, National Pledge, and the Founder’s Song of Hope, “Ashayen”, inspiring students from Grades IV to VIII to embody kindness, spread happiness, and make a difference within their school and community.
The morning served as a beautiful reminder that kindness, in every form, continues to illuminate the legacy of Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo and the vision of SAI International.
