SAI International Residential School joyfully celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga on 21 June 2025 at the SAI International Stadium, echoing the global theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” The celebration highlighted the intrinsic connection between individual well-being and the health of our planet, aligning with the school’s vision of holistic development.
The day began with a warm welcome and an address that set a reflective tone, followed by an insightful message on the importance of yoga in everyday life. Participants engaged in the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) as prescribed by the Ministry of Ayush, along with sessions of Pranayama, Omkar Meditation, and Laughter Yoga, fostering a spirit of unity, inner peace, and joyful energy.
A Special Assembly added further depth to the celebration, featuring interactive yoga workshops and an engaging quiz session that encouraged enthusiastic participation and deepened understanding of yogic practices. The event concluded with a thought-provoking reflection on the role of spirituality in daily living, encapsulating the school’s commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
The celebration stood as a vibrant reminder that at SIRS, a healthy body, a calm mind, and a joyful heart are key to lifelong excellence and purposeful living.
