3 May 2025 turned tangy and bright at SAI International Residential School as students of Classes IV, V, and VI celebrated the spirit of summer with a lively and engaging event—Mango Mania. This joyful, mango-themed learning activity brought together education, creativity, and cultural appreciation in a uniquely flavourful way.
The young SAIoneers filled the campus with vibrant hues of yellow and orange, crafting eye-catching paper mango decorations, painted posters, and informative charts. Their artistic displays celebrated not only the visual appeal of the mango, India’s national fruit, but also its nutritional value and cultural relevance.
Through captivating presentations, students shared insights into the journey of mangoes from farm to table, highlighting regional varieties grown across India. Their research, public speaking, and teamwork impressed all, making the day a wholesome blend of fun, facts, and festivity.
Mango Mania beautifully showcased how thematic learning can spark curiosity and deepen appreciation for nature, health, and heritage. SIRS applauds the students for their creativity, enthusiasm, and knowledge, which turned this fruity celebration into a memorable educational experience.
