Building Habits for Success: SIRS Students Join RS Zoom Postcard on "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens"
Students of SAI International Residential School took part in the RS Zoom Postcard hosted by Sunbeam School Lahartara, focused on the empowering theme “7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens” by Sean Covey. The 90-minute virtual session welcomed around 90 participants from 13 schools across India, Kenya, New Zealand, Pakistan, and the UAE, creating a vibrant space for students to engage in personal growth and leadership development. The event began with a detailed exploration of each habit and its practical relevance in students' lives. Interactive breakout rooms, thoughtful icebreakers, and case-based discussions allowed participants to share ideas on proactive behaviour, self-discipline, and goal-setting, while also building global connections. Through collaborative learning and meaningful dialogue, SIRS students gained valuable insights into applying these habits for academic excellence and personal empowerment.
Voices Across Borders: Civil Discourse & Freedom of Expression with Scarsdale High School, USA
Students of Class XI from SIRS participated in another impactful event— a Round Square Zoom Postcard hosted by Scarsdale High School, USA, themed “Civil Discourse & Freedom of Expression in the Modern World.” Bringing together around 90 students from 17 schools across Argentina, India, Namibia, Pakistan, and the UAE, the session offered an important platform for discussing the role of free speech and constructive communication in shaping modern societies. As part of the pre-work, participants engaged with the topic through videos and expressed their views via creative formats like articles, posts, and memes. During the Baraza breakout sessions, SAIoneers made active contributions, reflecting on how to foster respectful dialogue, especially in digital spaces and social media. This powerful engagement highlighted the importance of ethical communication and the need to build understanding across cultural and ideological divides—showcasing the global mindset of SIRS students.
